Dusty grew up in a pizza-loving household in Connecticut, where Friday night pies were more than a meal—they were a tradition. Surrounded by the rich pizza culture of the Northeast, he developed an early appreciation for a good slice and the community it creates.
After working for over a decade at some of the country’s most popular pizza chains, Dusty honed his skills, deepened his craft, and discovered his real passion: making quality pizza from scratch with heart. Over the past few years, he’s been perfecting his recipes—tweaking dough, experimenting with sauces, and chasing that perfect balance of crispy, chewy, saucy, and savory.

Now, he’s bringing that passion and Northeast flavor to Charleston through Dusty’s Dough & Co—a mobile pop-up dedicated to serving high-quality, handcrafted pies that people gather around.

Co-Founder & Pizza Maestro
Dusty is our co-founder, pizza maestro, and dough-slinging heart behind Dusty’s Dough & Co. Raised in a pizza-loving family in Connecticut, he spent over a decade working in the pizza industry before launching his own pop-up in Charleston. He’s been perfecting his craft for years, driven by a passion for quality ingredients, bold flavors, and good old-fashioned pie-making.

Co-Founder & Front Woman
Mary is the cofounder of Dusty’s Dough & Co, Dusty’s wife, and the front-woman of the show. Equal parts people-person and pizza fanatic, she keeps the vibes high and the line moving. With a sharp eye for detail and a deep love for community (and crispy crust), Mary makes sure every pop-up runs smoothly and every guest feels like family.
